March has been a very busy month for me!
It did kind of come in like a Lion.....
New wood floors, new paint colors, new headboard,
new bedding, lots of design work
and a few trips too!
With everything that was going on,
I forgot to tell you about the paint color in the
Master Bedroom.
A few of you asked me what the color was
and I was planning a post on it
but hadn't gotten around to it yet.
The original color was Topsail Sherwin Williams 6217.
I liked the color
but when the new darker wood floors
went in I felt kind of hemmed in by the color.
I wanted something warmer and neutral.
So I went with the same color
that I painted the Master Bathroom last year.
Paints Stains And Glazes/Houzz  Patience SW7555
I chose Patience Sherwin WIlliams 7555.
I have used this color on many of my projects
in my own home and with my clients.
It is such a soothing, warm light neutral color
that is very flattering.
But here is the catch,
when I was painting the bedroom,
I came home on Friday midday,
bought the paint and started painting.
I got one wall finished with one coat and thought,
"this is too yellow".
I couldn't get it out of my head.
I wasn't sure if it was because the other walls
were still blue or if the floor was too warm and too dark,
all I knew was that I would never forgive myself
if I didn't do something about it!
I figured I would paint the first coat on all of the walls
and then see what I could come up with.
I looked around for a lighter color in the basement
but couldn't find anything.
Just about that time Mr. Beaux came home.
He offered to return the other two gallons of paint
to the store to see if they could lighten them.
And that's how I came up with this color.
I am not sure really how much white they added
to the original color...
but I was happy with the result.
SO, my answer to what the paint color is.....
Patience with white added....
divine result!
And in other paint news....
At the same time we were painting the bedroom
we painted the Living Room.
This is the color it was at Christmas time.
The color was Benjamin Moore Quincy Tan HC-25.
Paints Stains And Glazes
We painted it a much lighter color.  Maison Blanche Sherwin Williams 7526.
Paints Stains And Glazes by Columbus Paint & Wall Coverings Sherwin-Williams
I know that it looks very similar
but to me it is a world away from what it was before.
I would show you the whole room
but there are pictures leaning against walls
and things are not quite together yet.
It's funny that I had picked this color out for my BFF's
house last year (but she is not ready to paint yet)and then
I recently saw it on Cote De Texas's blog.
I loved the neutral grey/beige color with the stone.
I can't wait to get the room finished!
I feel like I have a lot of unfinished projects in each room.  But I will get there....
I have a deadline......
Miss Beaux's graduation!

I do want to quickly talk about the subject
of No Reply Bloggers.
A No Reply Blogger is blogger
that does not have an email associated
with their blog.
When they leave lovely comments on my blog
I can't respond to them!
This makes Jackson sad!
He is all about good manners and kindness to others.
I found out that I was a
No Reply Blogger after I switched to Google+.
Maybe this happened to you too?
If so, here is a link that can show you how to fix it:
No Reply Blogger-How To Fix This.

That will make Mr. Jackson VERY Happy!

Until Next Time,
