Sending a Little Bit of Home to College

Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Now, before you go conjuring up images </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">of me pulling the slot machine arm let me explain...  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">It wasn't THAT kind of a trip.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I was helping my BFF </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">move her mother-in-law to assisted living.   </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Eleanor (as I like to call her) </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">was recently widowed </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">and will be joining us in Kansas </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">to be closer to her family.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This trip was a meet and greet with the movers, </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">the realtors, and the Estate Sale people.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">We also inventoried her furniture </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">to see what will fit here </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">in the assisted living apartment </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">(which is lovely BTW) </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">And, we took her shopping </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">to find out her likes and dislikes.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">She is a wonderful lady </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">and I can't wait until she is closer </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">so I can get to know her better! </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">My beautiful daughter called me yesterday </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">and was a tad bit homesick.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">It's about that time right?  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">4-6 weeks after they go away </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">they get lonesome for home.  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Well, I had the perfect remedy!  </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I drove up this afternoon </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">and brought her some goodies </span></span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #666666;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">and Our New Great Room ...
