Under the Sea

font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> I had been asked by ASID to design a table </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">for a charity Luncheon for KIPPS.  </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">The theme was "The Wonderful World of Disney".  </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">Since it benefits kids and education</span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> they usually pick a theme that will apply.</span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">  I chose The Little Mermaid thinking that I could possibly incorporate an Ocean Theme</span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> and use items that I already owned. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> Everything is at your own expense so that makes it easier.  </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> lend me the beautiful ocean blue plates</span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> and the little votive holders. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">I was also lucky to have my good friend Kristy help me set up and give me moral support. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> I ordered two Little Mermaid Life Sized cutouts and put them back to back draping the fabric in-between so you wouldn't see the cardboard in the back. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">I think it makes her look like she is </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">swimming in the Ocean don't you?  </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> I placed the Urns from Nell Hills on boxes covered</span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> with white fabric and draped the "Bubbles" around them.  The Bubbles were from my very first post EVER!!! </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">The table runners and napkins were purchased at ZGallerie.  I ran into an old friend who is now the Assistant Manager there.  He moved away and is now back in KC.  It's a well kept secret that it's a great place to live. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;">I folded the napkins in a fan fold and placed a starfish in front to finish it off.  You can barely see the little votive cups with a battery operated tealight candle in them, but they were really cute and added a little sparkle to the table. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> There were a few more things that I wanted to do but time and money were an issue.  Overall, I was pleased with the way that it came out. </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;"><i><span style="font-size: large;"> More importantly I was happy that they were able to raise money for such a worthwhile cause! </span></i></div><div style="color: #666666;
